We’d like to take a few moments to share the latest updates with you regarding your Zeal Credit Union mortgage and the assistance that Mortgage Center LC, our business partner, will be providing you in the future. Please rest assured you’re in great hands! Mortgage Center LC is a local partner and Zeal Credit Union is a co-owner of the Mortgage Center LC organization.

You may be wondering if your mortgage is being sold. It is not. Your mortgage is still a Zeal Credit Union loan.

Mortgage Center LC, our business partner, is simply helping us process your payments, manage your escrow balance (if you have one established) to pay taxes, and answer questions you may have. With many years of experience in the mortgage industry, Mortgage Center LC is an excellent choice to help provide you with exceptional service regarding your mortgage.

This transition of service assistance will NOT affect any term or condition of your mortgage loan; Your payments owed, length or term of your mortgage, or any other conditions of your mortgage agreement will remain the same. Your mortgage loan number will be arriving by mail to you shortly.

For the upcoming tax year, you will receive two statements of mortgage interest and real estate taxes paid for your Zeal mortgage loan. One statement will be issued directly from Zeal Credit Union from the period of January 1, 2022 – October 31, 2022 for year-end tax purposes. The other statement will be issued directly from Mortgage Center LC from the period of November 1, 2022 – December 31, 2022 for year-end tax purposes. In future tax years, you will receive your statement of mortgage interest and real estate taxes paid for your Zeal mortgage loan directly from Mortgage Center LC.
