Here’s to the Hard Working Americans

The people with big dreams. The ones with everyday dreams. People who persevere, overcoming the obstacles they encounter. The helpers. The challengers. The world changers.

In our day-to-day lives, we encounter these people. The ones who, by the simple act of being themselves, make our Michigan communities – and the world – a brighter place.

Hard Working Americans Bank on Us. They also enrich the fabric of our everyday lives with their efforts and contributions.

So, here’s to the hard working Americans! We’re honoring the hard workers whose impact improves the communities in Michigan where we live and work. From June 1st through June 30th, you can nominate the difference-maker in your life by filling out the form below. Six individuals will be selected and honored.

In addition to shining a spotlight and telling their stories, each nominee selected as a winner will receive a $700 prize and $700 to be donated to a local 501(c)(3) charitable organization in the winner’s name; and each nominator will receive a $100 prize*.

We’re looking for nominees who embody the following attributes and actions of a hard worker:

  • Change the world
  • Lend a hand
  • Do the right thing
  • Reach for the stars
  • Get things done
  • Dust yourself off

  • By signing, I certify that this is my authentic signature and the information contained within the application is true, accurate, and completed by me, the nominator. I understand my nomination and any subsequent material surrounding this nomination, will become property of Zeal Credit Union and, if chosen, the information within my nomination form and subsequent photos/video may be used by the Credit Union for publicity purposes. I also understand Zeal Credit Union will need to obtain permission from the nominee before their information will be shared.

*This is a contest of skill. No purchase necessary. Purchase will not increase your chance of winning. Subject to all applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Entries must be received online at ZealCU.org/Nominate by Friday, June 30, 2023. Must be 18+ years of age (or 19+ for residents of AL &NE). All entries shall become property of Zeal Credit Union. We will be looking for nominees who embody those actions/attributes of a hard worker outlined on this page. See full Contest Terms, Conditions, and Official Rules for judging criteria.

Six (6) Potential Prize recipients successfully passing through the verification process as set forth in the Contest Terms, Conditions, and Official Rules and submitting all required documentation shall become Final Prize Recipients. Each Final Prize Recipient shall receive $700, and a $700 donation made by the Credit Union on their behalf to one of the 501(c)3 charities listed here. The nominator of each of the six (6) Final Prize Recipients will receive $100. In the event that there is more than one nominator for an individual recipient, the $100 will be divided evenly among those who nominated each recipient. Recipients will be notified no later than July 31, 2023. Final Prize Recipients and nominators are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes and any expenses associated with the Prize.
